Episode 12 | ProVeg International's Jasmijn de Boo | Vegan in the UK
Jasmijn de Boo's vegan cred is hard to top. She's worked for some of the world's top animal- and vegan-advocacy organizations out there, from WSPA (World Society For the Protection of Animals) to The Vegan Society, where she was CEO from 2011-2016. In her various roles, she's traveled around the world, including India, Pakistan, Thailand (where she lived for nine months), and New Zealand, where she lived and worked for a year and a half. Today, she's the International Director at ProVeg International, an organization that aims to cut global meat consumption in half by 2040.
When Jasmijn isn't working to make the world a better place for people and animals, she's busy running half-marathons, hiking mountains, and planning her vegan wedding to fellow herbivore/animal-advocate Andrew Knight in the summer of 2019. In this episode, Jasmijn shares some of her favorite places to travel, tells us about her latest music festival experience, and inspires us with her incredible advocacy.
